Phase One: Design Development and Prototyping
Our sample development begins by bringing your concept to life with clear patterns, fittings, and prototype sampling. What’s Included in Phase One:
Pattern Drafting
Our team develops initial patterns for each design in your collection based on standard size small measurements. These technical patterns form the blueprint for your garments.
First Prototype Creation
We produce the first prototypes using muslin or a comparable fabric that simulates your final material. This allows us to visualize your designs and begin evaluating fit and construction.
Fittings and Adjustments
Each prototype is tested on our in-house fitting model. Our team conducts fittings to assess fit, silhouette, and design accuracy, making detailed notes and recommended adjustments.
Pattern Refinement
Following the initial fitting, we refine each pattern to ensure it meets your expectations for style and fit.
Second Prototype
If changes are required to the design, we will create a second prototype. When those changes are significant — such as major fit or construction updates — we will trial the new sample again on our in-house model and send you detailed fitting images for review. If the changes are minor, we’ll provide clear flat-lay photos of the updated sample for your approval before shipping it to you for personal fitting.
Once you receive the second sample, we expect only minor refinements. All major changes will have already been addressed in Phase One — so you’re not left trying to explain complex alterations.

After you try on the sample, you send your last round of changes.
Pre-Production Sample Creation:
We apply your feedback and create a final sample using production fabric, trims, and final colors. This is your gold-standard sample.
